Support Menstrual Equity: Host a Product Drive or Fundraiser

Across Canada, there are millions of people who do not have access to the essential period products they need to manage their periods safely and with dignity. Thanks to the support and generosity of people like you, we’re changing that.

Here’s how you can get involved with The Period Purse™:

START AN ONLINE FUNDRAISER

It takes just $15 to provide one month’s worth of period products to someone who needs it. Host an online fundraiser and start making a difference today. It takes just minutes to get started.

How it Works:

Step 1: Register for an account and set-up your fundraising event.

Step 2: Share your donation link with your community, inviting friends, family and colleagues to support your fundraising.

HOST A PERIOD PRODUCT MINI DRIVE

Running a product Mini Drive is a great way to engage your community, give back and make a difference to menstruators who may not otherwise have a healthy, dignified period that month.
The Period Purse™ wants your product drive to be as successful and easy as possible! We have prepared a product Mini Drive handbook that includes everything you need to run a successful drive including instructions, tips, checklists and important online links.

How it Works:

Step 1 - Game Plan: Complete our product Mini Drive Game Plan application form and we’ll send you the handbook so you can get started.

Step 2 - Collect: Collect period products from your community and raise funds online.

Step 3 - Deliver: Drop off period products you collected at one of our drop-off locations.

Step 4 - Celebrate: Report your final collect numbers and celebrate your team’s success! Tag us @theperiodpurse on social media!
