Free Period Products for All

At The Period Purse, we believe that all menstruators should have free access
to their choice of period product, including pads, tampons and menstrual cups.

Our Programs

HEALTHY PERIODS

Our outreach programs help supply period products to marginalized people who may otherwise not have access to the essential supplies they need to manage menstruation safely and with dignity.

CUPS PROGRAM

The Period Purse donates free menstrual cups to any Canadian organization comprised of frontline workers interacting with people living in the margins.

Eligible organizations will be able to receive free menstrual cups after completing a 30-minute training session, enabling organizations to share knowledge with their clients on how to use a cup, sizing and fit and cleaning.

INDIGENOUS COMMUNITIES OUTREACH

Our goal is to support some Territories we are in relations with with free period products for those who need them in midwife outreach offices, libraries, schools and community centres.

Through individual donors and some grants, The Period Purse currently provides moon time products of choice (from bamboo biodegradable to reusable period products) to two First Nations Territories.

The Period Purse has free menstrual cups available for any Indigenous organizations in Canada or on First Nation, Métis or Inuit Territory.
