Research for Change
We’re committed to strengthening menstrual equity through evidence-based advocacy. By collecting and sharing real experiences, stories, and data, we help policymakers, educators, and community leaders understand the full impact of period poverty and stigma. Knowledge is power — and research is one of the most important tools for change.
Right now, we’re focusing our research on three core areas of menstrual equity:
- School curriculum – identifying gaps and inconsistencies in period education across Canadian provinces and territories
- Cost of menstruation – examining the financial impact of managing a period over a lifetime and how affordability affects access and dignity
- Cultural and community experiences – understanding how identity, culture, and social environment shape people’s experiences with menstruation
